Why it matters to Dylan
The Oldest House is where the FBC held and studied Dylan after the Ordinary incident. It is therefore both the Bureau's headquarters and a personal part of his history.
The new game moves much of the action into Manhattan while returning to the Bureau's building. The previews show unfamiliar spaces, but we still do not have a complete sector map for Resonant.

Avoid mixing the two games
Executive, Maintenance, Research and Containment are familiar sector names from Jesse's game. They are useful background when a returning character refers to an older event, not a promise that every old route or pickup remains in the sequel.
A collectible coordinate from CONTROL should never be copied into a Resonant location guide without retail verification.

The opening is a bridge, not a reused map
The June hands-on starts with Dylan escaping the Oldest House as the Hiss crisis spills into Manhattan. This gives returning players a recognizable origin point before the larger Zone structure takes over.
Platform coverage says the new game revisits unseen areas of the building. We would not reuse a room-by-room CONTROL (2019) collectible guide as a Resonant route.

Which game does this location belong to?
The Oldest House was the central playable setting of CONTROL. It housed the Bureau, its containment work, Jesse's search for Dylan and the P6 records that explain his confinement. That history is relevant to Resonant, but a room-by-room guide to the 2019 building is not automatically a guide to the new game's Manhattan zones.
For a new player, the important connection is institutional: the same FBC that studied Dylan inside the House deploys him outside during a citywide crisis. For a returning player, it helps explain why familiar names such as Darling, Pope and Arish carry different meanings for Dylan than they did for Jesse.
